Vincenzo Iovino's Design Through the Photos of Audrey Borgel

Vincenzo Iovino of the PARALLELOA agency and partner architect of Find My Architect is based in Paris. The architect called on the photographer Audrey Borgel to highlight his renovation project for the Laboratoire National de Métrologie et d'Essais in Paris. The client's project was to renovate this space to make it more spacious and bright. In this way, the architect has created beautifully coloured rooms by optimising space.

The architect has created an exquisite project with an interior design enhanced by the creation of custom-made furniture in collaboration with different craftsmen. The entrance to the LNE is very bright thanks to its bay windows, as well as the light tone colour of the walls and floor and the lighting on the ceiling and walls. The different areas are separated by glass doors, which makes the room larger and more spacious. The furniture, placed asymmetrically and in pastel colours, adds vibrancy to the space.

The architect worked on the hall that has different laboratory rooms. The pastel pink doors illuminate the room through the glass. The metal ceiling is quite high in an industrial-style way.

In this room, the details of the door and the internal windows are subtly golden or pink. The internal windows allow for more natural light. As such, the room is composed of several white tables, orange and pink coloured chairs and heating units in blue.

The different elements are in harmony with the different rooms. These are geometrically shaped pieces of furniture that vary from one another. They are coloured or in gold to recall other elements, such as the windows. These elements make the room modern, colourful and friendly.

In the reception area, we find the same turquoise blue on the table, then a transparent part with different geometric shapes. These are small coloured tiles that are placed asymmetrically. 

A wonderful design with bright and colourful rooms. The different geometric shapes used in each room add character and liven up the interior design. The different spaces are well structured and well defined.
