Magali Hvass's Design Through Olivier Toggwiler's Photos

Our partner architect Magali Hvass of the LYKKE Architecture agency is based in Paris Saint-Ouen, France. Here, Magali Hvass and her team have carried out a renovation project with the addition of an extension to a townhouse. The photos of this architectural achievement were done by the professional photographer Olivier Toggwiler. The architect renovated a shed and added a modern extension to enlarge the living space.

The architect has renovated this room so that it now receives more light. We find several offices in the same place with quality furniture in neutral tones to enlarge the room.

The extension is composed on the one hand of large bay windows that bring an abundance of light to the room that extends it even further. 

The roof features both glass, which makes the room even brighter, and exposed beams. There is a duality between wood and glass that harmonizes the room and gives it a more modern touch.

The interior of the room is also separated in two parts by a glass roof. The furniture is made of wood and the checkered parquet floor is composed of gray tones.

The kitchen is white in colour with elements of stone. It is made more colourful with a wall in blue and small colourful details on the worktop. Plants bring freshness to the kitchen and give it even more liveliness.
