Julia Coquelle's Project as Photographed by Stefan Meyer
Our partner architect Julia Coquelle from Pangée Architecture is based in Clamart, France. The architect carried out a complete renovation of this flat. For this project, the architect asked photographer Stefan Meyer to take photos of the final result. Julia Coquelle used a rather old-fashioned style, keeping the high ceilings and the hexagonal-shaped rooms. The furniture and interior design are mainly vintage pieces that give the flat a charming look and feel.
Julia Coquelle has designed the kitchen space in a modern way with a rather subdued grey-green base colour, creating a nice contrast with the white. The small gold accents on the cabinet handles and the tap give this kitchen a truly modern look. The patterned tiles contrast these modern touches and create a harmonious whole.
The architect carried out this flat renovation by also taking care of the smallest details of the layout. Radiator covers are indeed an accessory that allows you to completely personalise your interior, leaving nothing left undone.
The colours of the entire flat are harmonious and create a uniform effect throughout the interior. The subdued grey-green colour is contrasted by the furnishing elements which can be very colourful, such as the orange sofa or the red carpets. Combinations that create a warm and welcoming interior.
