Alain Steiner is an EPLF/SIA architect, and director of the Geneva office of the architecture firm S+M Architectes SA. The office was founded in 1961 for the realisation of the Migros-Genève distribution centre and the Balexert shopping centre in Geneva and Crissier near Lausanne. The firm is represented in German-speaking Switzerland by its sister studio S+M Architekten AG, based in Zurich.
