Aurélien Crozet's Project Through Gérald Le Pan’s Photos
Our partner architect Aurélien Crozet from the Dialog Architectes agency based in Bouguenais, France has carried out a restoration project for an older home with the addition of an extension. The architect first renovated this house, whose style is typical of the region, in order to restore its original charm. Two completely modern extensions were then added on either side of the house in order to enlarge the living space for it’s occupants. The photos of this architectural achievement were taken by professional photographer Gérald Le Pan.
The architect carried out a vintage restoration and modern extensions giving a real contrast in style. This mixture ultimately creates a harmonious and unique whole that gives character to the building.
The link between the old stone house and the all-black metal extension is made with a small wooden extension on one floor. An extension that makes the links between the two styles and makes the whole more coherent.
