Warehouse to House Conversion by Frédérique Chevallier and Photographed by Hervé Pezzini
Our partner architect Frédérique Chevallier, of the agency of the same name, is located in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France. After completing this conversion of an old warehouse into a dwelling, she enlisted the help of photographer Hervé Pezzini so that he could capture the achievement of this project in Villette d'Anthon, France.
With its contemporary design, this conversion project has successfully made the former warehouse, which was there for some time, completely disappear.
Frédérique Chevallier designed the space of this large living room by incorporating an open-plan kitchen into the living room and separating the dining room only by a pillar to give it a sense of spaciousness.
The blue of the living room wall contrasts with the simplicity and minimalism of the white of the ceiling and other walls. This living room gives off a certain warmth due to its rich interior design and the dark floor. The large bay windows also make it a very bright space.
The exterior is no exception. Designed to make the house more green, the floor tiles allow the garden to be covered without encroaching too much on the green space of the garden. The white of the house complements the green of the vegetation and makes it warm and welcoming.
